I watched an 'Access The Animus' video earlier. The vid discussed leaks about dialogues referring to & including Kass, found in the game files, & supposedly features the beautiful 'Isle of Skye' on the West coast of Scotland.

    What do you think?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I hope so, Kassandra is my favorite AC character.

@jhandibode Yeah Kassandra was a great character, & tbh, if this dlc is going ahead, I'd prefer to play as Kass, rather than Eivor. In fact I'd prefer more content being made for Odyssey, than a year 2 for Valhalla!

Anyhow, Andyreloads released this video earlier with more discussion between Eivor & Kassandra. So, once again, this probably/possibly contains SPOILERS!

@thegardener25 As I mentioned in my last post, (about preferring to play as Kassandra in the rumoured, upcoming dlc). Does the fact that Ubisoft Quebec are currently looking for 'Playtesters that have played AC Odyssey', mean that we can actually play as Kass in some future content for this game? Also, I'd just like to repeat, that I'd much prefer more content being made for AC Odyssey, than a year 2 for Valhalla!

So, about an hour ago, AndyReloads released another video, relating to the 'Isle of Skye' dlc with Kassandra, including some of the locations we will probably visit on Skye. Again, this is still just speculation, but may contain spoilers!

Hope not. Or Alexios will be optional.

@as1r0nimo Alexios is unlikely to be an option. He died over 2000 years ago!

@thegardener25 Nope, since He should be a canon. Ubisoft should place a checkbox for players, instead of Forcing [Removed 25/10/2021 by @Ubi-Woofer]

@as1r0nimo "Forcing SJW"? Aw quit yer whinin and grow up! He's not canon, & shouldn't be!

@thegardener25 It's an obvious forcing. Or stupidity.
They gave players a choice. Yes, it was due to the fact, that male protagonist will make money (Kassandra was chosen by 25-30% only by all players). But after it, they made Kass as a canon. It's either Forcing SJW political agenda, or they are completely stupid. They could make a basic checkbox for all players, who played as Alexios, so he would be canon.
Same goes to Eivor. Both characters should be male due to time periods (a brutal masculine female as a viking, yeah sure, historical accuracy). So instead of players making their vision, Ubi decided to spit on it and make their own canon. That's where stupidity comes.
You either make choices count, or don't make them at all. Male protagonists are here due to sales, while female - Forcing. It wouldn't be so obvious if there were a simple checkbox. Like in every other RPG out there. Mass Effect is the most common example.

I suggest you to grow up and look at things how they are in reality.

@as1r0nimo choices doesn't make something canon. Only 1 can be canon as staff wielder. Kassandra brother still existed but storywise ubisoft had to choose one of them. Frankly Kassandra was best choice.

@jhandibode I was aware he replied to me. But, he's just talking nonsense again! I didn't think his mutterings were worth a response. Just ignore him.

Anyhow, Andy Reloads has just released another video covering the Kassandra/Isle of Skye content, & if I understood it correctly, he reckons there's a chance, this content might be available this December?!

So, 'Access the Animus' released a new video earlier, stating that, A new dlc will be released this month! If UBI stick to the 5 week cycle, then the next update (1.4.1) will drop next Tuesday 14th Dec. The update will probably contain the content for the repeat of 'Yule Festival'! As Marco from AtA explains, there is a strong possibility that the Kass/Skye saga is coming soon. Just a side note. But since the devs are really into these festivals. When I was kid, I enjoyed xmas, but in Scotland, even as a kid, Hogmanay/New Year was always a bigger deal! Any chance of a Scottish New Year, in the game? (& leave it there. I'd rather ubisoft didn't crap on Scotland anymore than you already have!)!

@thegardener25 Frankly I'd be more worried that they are going to introduce the NFT SCAM into this game like they are starting to do with Breakpoint ..... All the Microtransactions weren't sleazy enough for Ubisoft Management so now they have to scam us with this NFT nonsense

I will not buy a game with NFTs in it and I may just not buy for any Publisher that has them in any game even if it is one I don't play ..... Why would I "invest" in something anyone can right click and just take?

This aged very well! Even though there should have been more Kassandra and quests were more of the same from base game, I am very glad to have her back!
