I have completed the Thegn of Lincoln quest, but I couldn't get the next mission. I have tried relaunch, creating manual save, completed the quest again, and deleted the game. But still, I don't get the next quest.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@pompermeulheim I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this, it is not a known issue.

Can you please provide a video. In the video can you show the following:

    • Your quest log screen
    • Your completed quests screen then scroll to the bottom
    • Your alliance map

Did you encounter any game crashes? And do you have the latest update installed?

@ubi-keo Hello again, I have recorded a video and uploaded it to google drive. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SuVyPFtX8cNG0mULvRsGKg4j0Vi-4bIT/view?usp=sharing: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SuVyPFtX8cNG0mULvRsGKg4j0Vi-4bIT/view?usp=sharing)

I encountered crashes many times, but not in The Thegn of Lincoln quest. Also, I have installed the game recently, so I have the latest update. I have been trying to solve this problem for a long while and tried to complete the quest again after every update. I also followed solved bug patches. Opened the game on GeForce now. But none of them worked. I still can't get the next quest.

Unluckily, I have experienced the problem after playing 80 hours.

@pompermeulheim Apologies for the late response, and thanks for the video provided.

I can see that the 'Thegn of Lincoln' quest does not appear in the completed quests log, so it appears that the game has not recognised the quest as being completed for some reason which explains why the next quest has not triggered.

You mentioned you tried completing the quest again but it did not resolve the issue. Can you confirm when you complete the quest that you receive the on screen notification to say that the quest has been completed? Could you try completing the quest again and record a video to show this.

@ubi-keo I recorded a video to show the problem and the completed quests log. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-0D2HRRs2nO7OEqDzzYp8mNaj9QV4UAa/view?usp=sharing: (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-0D2HRRs2nO7OEqDzzYp8mNaj9QV4UAa/view?usp=sharing)

Actually, in the previous video, I showed the 'Thegn of Lincoln' quest as completed in the completed quests log.
