I run three saved games.

I started my festival day with my lowest level character and was able to buy all the things, and complete the entire festival offerings without a single bug or issue.

My second game was with my maxed out, longest running character. I am experiencing the foreign resource bug and cannot finish the "War Effort" quest because of it. I was able to buy and experience everything else without issues.

I decided to go ahead with my third save game. This is a maxed out skill-level character (still plenty of mastery point room) and hasn't finished all river raids so I though it would be safe.

I was able to complete all tasks for the "War Effort" but the final tick on the bar did not move and complete the quest to the next stage of talking to Sunniva. The mission is stuck on "check the idols for things to do" part, but none of the idols have clickable icons, and I finished all of the tasks anyway.

The only thing I can think of, is after I won the Orlog game, I went to Ake to do the Flyting. My game crashed during the flyting. When I loaded back in from an autosave file, I had to complete the Orlog again, and was able to complete that and the Flyting and then this bug occurred.

Let me know if a save file or screenshots would help. Or should I just open a support ticket with those items?

The quest "War Effort" does not complete after finishing the requirement from all three columns.

Bar stays almost complete, but not fully complete and I also did all the carved column requirements.

@taklishim Same here... except I had no crashes whatsoever. I'm on PC btw so it's a simple logical gameplay problem.

The title update is just bugged for that task. Bar is almost complete while all tasks are done.

@taklishim I think it's supposed to be like that as it is the only re-playable activity aside from orlog with Alwin similar to archery and brawls in previous festivals for the main purpose of earning festival tokens. Hope that helps.

I'm trying to finish the War Effort mission, the only thing left to do is "consult the carvings around the offering boat" unfortunately it is not possible to interact with any of the 3 trunks (carvings)

@taklishim I am having the same issue as you did on your 3rd playthrough. While I did not crash during gameplay, I have a mostly full progress bar after completing all tasks, and now it just tells me consult the carvings I already consulted. If this is supposed to happen I hope they make this clear to the confused players.

I am having the same issue where "The War Effort" will not complete after finishing all tasks. I recently bought this game and was looking forward to this event. Sad that it has many issues like I heard the last event had as well.

I guess the problem is Ake not giving the possibility to choose the god brazier once beaten at flyting game as it happens completing the three pigs and Sunniva sub-missions.

I can't validate the mission when I have to check the last step, the statues around the offering boat. I place myself in front of the boat, nothing happens and meanwhile I succeeded in all the side missions in order to fill the gauge almost to the maximum. No suggestion of animation (as I could see on a video solution).

Can't do a screenrecord but here's a snapshot showing the four carvings, none can be interacted with.
I have definitely done all the available quests, triple checked, and beat Alwin and the arena multiple times.

My only available quests in log are The War Effort, War Games, and Test Your Metal. All relevant braziers are lit and all tokens have been collected as well as foreign supplies gathered, a fish fished, a deer hunted and a tattoo tattood.

I wouldn't normally post feedback but i am 100% certain this has bugged out and i'm not just being dumb.
Fingers crossed for a hotfix soon

Exactly the same issue here, on my french version.
I did all avaible quests. I repeated most of them like beating opponents in the arena, beating Alwin, fishing or hunting. I replaced my tatoos, bought all items in the temporary shop...
Only three quests are now avaible : the two repeatable quests (War games and Test Your Metal) and The War Effort.
I'm pretty sure this last quest is bugged out...
Here are two screenshots from my PC version. One away from the ship : the green rune is visible to point an active quest... and the second just near the ship, but no way to interact with it.

@ubi-borealis I have the same issue and I recorded me showing the quests and carvings not highlighting with Odin's sight, Hope this helps with solving the issue.
