hi guys, by now i have given up hope that ubisoft will ever put real metropolitan police cars in the game. i would be interested to know if there are other people who would like to have met police cars in the game or if i am more or less alone.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I know I'm complaining at a very high level, but somehow I had hoped for more. When I saw the first videos of wdl I was convinced that it was going to be a great game and then I got wdl on release and played through the story in the following weeks, just like you do. And don't get me wrong the story wasn't bad and the game looks great but somehow I missed a bit of depth in the game world.

and of course i knew from the beginning that wdl would not be a police simulation but a hacker game. But you do have these missions where you investigate and search for evidence, which could have been expanded a bit.The Jack the Ripper DLC from syndicate, for example, was a lot of fun (the parts where you were chasing Jack, not the ones where you had to massacre policemen). why couldn't they have done more of that instead of just storming the same clan kell hideout over and over again? The side missions in bloodline, as far as I played them, turned out really well.

The cars already exists inside the game files, just are not used.

@martelinho40k Oh wow. It would be great if you can have a mission to set back the police stations in the boroughs and those will have real police patrols instead of lonely Albion troops + Clan Kellly pull back to their bases as Albion do after you make a borough defiant.

@martelinho40k yes i know i saw the video too. it makes you wonder why ubisoft doesn't implement the cars when they are already in the game

Not only want police car, we need fire engines, garbage trucks, and any utility vehicles added in the game
