Unsolved Valhalla bug interations

Hi, I am an AC Valhalla player and have been experiencing a bug for over a month that prevents me from starting Mastery Challenges.
After seeing the opening cinematic and unlocking the mission "A Divine Event" I went to the crash site to talk to the mysterious character, but despite the command to interact with him, the dialogue video does not start.
This happens to me with all the characters in the game, with the totems for customizing the village and also with the drakkar so it is impossible for me to do even the simplest things like riding a horse or starting any secondary mission or event.
This bug occurred after the update that introduced the Mastery Challenges event and despite having followed several other players' advice on various forums I have not been able to fix it myself.
I have updated the game with the latest patch released and it always gives me the bug.

@BioMasterXxX seems like you have an issue with custom controls, it's supposed to be fixed in TU 1.3.0 being released on Tuesday, July 27th

Hey @BioMasterXxX, sorry to hear you are encountering this problem with the interaction button at this time. As @bielik01 mentioned, if you have any custom controls in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, this is a known issue that our team is addressing in a later patch. In the meantime, you may find the following steps to help prevent this issue from occurring:
- Reset your control bindings back to the default settings
- Reassign the Interaction button with another one that is not used for any other direct action
