Please could you add the ability to use melee weapons on horseback!

It is great to be able to use ranged weapons like bows and arrows on horseback, but please could you add the ability to use melee weapons like spears and swords on horseback.
The photo below shows Eivor clearing a bandit camp with a ranged bow and arrow (Norse-Gael bow). It is sad that they have to step down from the horse to use the melee weapons of spear and sword (Gae-Bolg spear and Excalibur longsword).
It would be great to have them ride through the camp and, and have the ability to use the spear and sword on horseback, with the poison and fire abilities these weapons have while Eivor is walking on the ground:
