Unsolved (Series S) Still no background music

I've seen some old threads and a newer one with that issue and a "wait a future patch" official response, it's been up since launch and still nothing.
I only get the ambient/background/exploration music in Norway, after that, nada. I've toyed with all the audio options, my music frequency is set to high and I still never hear the soundtrack playing, except on syncing viewpoints. Things I tried that didn't work:
Reinstalling, starting a new game, loading previous save, fast travelling, hard restarting the Xbox, changing the Xbox's audio settings, changing the game's settings, changing volumes, meditating on repeat until I force a song to play (that works only for that song, then it's silent for the rest of the session).
Anyone else still having this problem or it's just me? Any help would be appreciated! -
@spik3dpandora Hey there! I'm sorry to hear that you're still encountering this issue with no background music or ambient noises! Thank you as well for listing everything you've tried so far! Just to confirm one thing, do you happen to use surround sound when playing your game?

@ubistorm I'm playing with headphones, but with Windows Sonic on, which is kinda a surround. So.. sort of.

@spik3dpandora I can confirm that the development team are intending to fix an issue with missing ambient sounds and music in a future update, however we have no ETA on when the update will be released.
