On Bloody Path To Peace Quest after burning all huts and killing all soldiers and time to fish for Eels with Ceolbert, selecting fishing line in menu shows Fishing Currently Unavailable.
Please tell me there is a solution to solve this. Even when trying to fish with weapons nothing available to fish seems empty.
Not able to fish anywhere. "Not Currently Available" in RED

- When did this issue first occur? Was it immediately after building the fishing hut, or after carrying out another action?
Only noticed recently when trying to fish for eels with Ceolbert. Was definitely able to fish before, I have a few fish in my inventory.
- Have you been able to use the fishing rope anywhere at all? Only After immediately finishing the Fishing Hunt and in one task where you had to fish because little boy had apparently turned into one. Frustrating to say the least.
- If you have any video footage which shows the issue in-game, please can you share it with us in this thread? This will be helpful for the ongoing investigation.

I just finished this quest and it was different for me. When I approached the river with Ceolbert and he grabbed his fishing rod, my Eivor said “I just have my weapons”, implying that I haven’t built the fishing hut in the settlement yet. I was able to swim and catch the eels with my axe though. -

Tried the same swimming and looking for eels. Couldn't see any fish let alone eels. -

@KBL007 - Thanks for sharing your report within this thread as well. I've passed on your report, as well as the video you've captured, to the development team so they can take a closer look. Please keep an eye out within this thread for any further updates regarding this fishing line.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble locating eels during "A Bloody Path to Peace" when trying to fish with weapons. Would you be able to send us an additional video that shows there are no eels present when using Odin's Sight during this part of the quest? We can then take a closer look at why the eels could be missing.

@ubi-borealis Unsure when it happened. But now can't give Roman Artefacts to the collector.

Can't fish at all inspite of unlocking the fishing hut and having a high settlement level. It is always unavailable inspite of being anywhere

@ubi-borealis I have exactly the same issue, have purchased the fishing hut but when I try and fish it just says currently unavailable.

@ubi-keo I understand that you get quite a lot of issues... but why not? Isn't that what the known issue thread is for? This seems like a pretty common issue as a lot of people have reported it according to the mega thread. I've made a support ticket myself but it's kind of hard to keep track of where to find updates regarding the issue of not being able to fish.

Just to let you know, I have now completed the 'catch eels with Ceolbert' part.
After the update thought would try again.
Numerous attempts proved futile, until I decided to go around pond randomly hacking with axe.
