Me and my brother want to play Settlers 5 together this Weekend. But the Problem is that i don´t know how we can start a game.
I know that the Ubisoft servers have been shut down many years ago and i know that there are some programs to fix the problem.
But i can´t use this programs because of Ubisoft Connect. The programs can´t detect the Game on my Pc.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I'd like to ask what is the purpose of the relics that are located about each island, they don't seem to provide much in the way of anything really other than some kind of bonuses when they are found. I'd like to see more from them in way of content and purpose in the game.

I got the entire History Edition a few months ago and now I have reached the 6th game, which is pretty much my favorite game, since it was my first Settler game as a kid.

But now I have a minor issue, which I would love to get solved.
The autosave feature is annoying me quite a bit, since it's happens way to often.

I checked the options and even the game files (Documents and where the game is installed) but I never found a way to disable autosave.
Is there some way I can disable or at least increase the time frame of autosaves?

Hey everyone,
I just played the 4th Settle-Mission where you have to cleanse the desert spots with priests and plant a lot of trees on them.
Unfortunately the game crashed with a "fatal error" message like it often does, and when I wanted to load my last autosave it said "Game cannot be started".
My last manual save is from yesterday evening when I have just cleaned and planted one spot, with the current autosave I was almost done...
Is there any way to repair the autosave? Or do I have to bite the bullet and start over from yesterday evening?
I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

In The Settlers IV History edition the Roman Priest spell "Flood of Fish" doesn't seem to work. You see fish jumping, but the fisher can't catch any fish. Tried multiple times, no effect.
Played in multiplayer.

Title says it. Can't download Settlers IV. I'm playing Settlers III just fine. Downloaded I, II and III without issue. There is no indication that I'm not connected, apart from the 17006 connectivity error message.

A feature I'd like to see is interactive maps for each of the islands and more information (like wikis) on each building, character, research technology etc. So that people like me can really get emersed into the game with as much knowledge as I can handle. As the saying goes, knowledge is power. Unfortunately, its usually third parties that develop such wikis for games. It would be great if Ubisoft included it in the game or as webpage link.

I would be very interested to know, (before I part with my money) if there will be any substantial military buildings included such as castles/forts for the civilization. The other buildings look great but I thought (from what I've seen so far) there seems to be a lack of stone buildings that probably the Elari faction would build, as they seem to be more European in culture and style than the other 2 factions. Please tell me that this is included in the game from the start or that its in the pipeline for a future update. Could I also request that there was to be 3 different styles of castles/forts to choose from. Thank you.

Has the beta been extended or was there just a gig update at the end of the beta because...?
