These forums are for the discussion of Ubisoft games, including advice, feedback and general gameplay talk. We ask that all posts are civil, respectful and constructive - this ensures all visitors can enjoy and benefit from these forums, plus we can more easily collect feedback (be it positive or negative) to pass on to Ubisoft game developers.
To this end, there are specific forum rules covering the sort of behaviour that is and isn't acceptable here. While the general guideline of "Treat everyone with respect" applies, all visitors must also abide by these rules. If you do not do so your post may be moved, locked, or deleted, and may also result in a temporary or permanent ban. Please be aware Forum Rules are applied to both Public and Private posts.

This along with the general Forum Rules above need to be followed in order to ensure our communities are the best they can be.
Thanks for your cooperation.
1. Online Safety
We strongly recommend you do not arrange to meet anyone from these forums. Always consult with a parent or guardian if you are a minor. You should also not give out personal contact details, including your real name, phone number, email or home address.
2. Inappropriate Content
We want to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all gamers of all ages where everyone is treated equally and respectfully. As such, any posts containing: profanity, obscenity, insults, personal attacks, accusations or abusive language are prohibited and may be reported and edited or deleted. Posting such content may, in addition, result in a warning or, in severe or persistent cases, a ban from the forum, or stricter sanctions when needed to protect our communities.
This forum also uses language filters to remove words that we consider inappropriate for use here. Such words will be replaced with asterisks (*) or other characters. Attempting to circumvent this swear filter in any way, including using symbols or acronyms, is still considered swearing and therefore not permitted. Signatures, avatars, banners, titles and other images must also follow these rules.
Comments targeting minority groups are likely to result in immediate banning and potential additional actions. Discussion or encouragement of software piracy in any of it's forms is strictly forbidden on the forum. "Piracy" includes links to illegal downloads of games or methods by which to circumvent copy protection mechanisms.
3. Content of the posts (including images, videos, links)
All the content (Images, Videos, Links, Posts, ect.) posted within the forums is subject to the Forum Rules and the Terms of Use and must not:
3.1 Feature content that is threatening, malicious, defamatory, false, pornographic, paedophilic, obscene, vulgar, racist, xenophobic, hatred inciting, sexually explicit, violent or contrary to public decency.3.2 Contain foul language not permitted on the boards with or without symbols to disguise their intended purpose.3.3 Insult, harass, abuse forum members, mods or staff of the boards or support.3.4 Contain quotes, conversations, or chat logs, posted by members, mods or staff either on these boards or elsewhere.3.5 Incite or promote hate groups designed to troll and/ or flame across the forums.3.6 Mention, incite or promote physical violence towards other individuals or self-harming. Any external content linked to these forums must follow the same rules as any content directly posted here. This includes posts, images and videos.
4 No Flaming
This includes any kind of personal insult, flame, or intimidation. Responding in kind to a flame message is viewed as equally unacceptable, regardless of who started it. If you believe you are being insulted or otherwise flamed by another poster, please send a private message to any forum community staff rather than responding. This applies to both written text and image posting.
There is no need to turn disagreements into heated arguments. Rather than letting these threads become flame wars please agree to disagree or the thread is likely to be locked.
5. No Trolling
This includes
Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums.Causing disturbances in forum threads such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters.Making posts designed to or likely to get inappropriate responses.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll for more information.
5.1. "Naming and Shaming" suspected cheaters is also considered trolling and only causes arguments. If you believe you have a strong case against a suspected cheater, please use the in-game reporting tools. You can find out more information on how to report a player through the Ubisoft Support Portal. For console games, you can refer to the "Report a player" page for the relevant console network (
PSN,
XBL, Nintendo Online: (https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Welcome-to-Nintendo-Support-11593.html))
Final decisions on what is trolling will be discretion of the forum staff.
6. No Spamming
Repeatedly posting the same post or topic in a forum, or across multiple forums, is considered spamming. Such posts will be locked, edited or removed. International off topic or nonsense posting is also likely to be considered spam and will recieve the same treatment, especially if this takes and existing thread off topic. This applies to both written text and image posting which also includes memes.
If you think of someone else you want to add to the thread, please use the Edit button rather than making multiple posts in a row as this may also be seen as spamming, whether intentional or not.
7. Stay on Topic
When posting in a thread, please make sure that the thread is relevant to your query/ issue, and that you would not be derailing the existing topic by replying. When creating a thread of your own, be sure to post in the right forum for the game in question, and take the time to search for an existing/ appropriate thread (including sticky threads, as these are available for many reported issues in the Player Support sections in particular) before dong so.
Threads that are off topic, or become so, may be moved or locked. We have specific forums for each game, some of them with their own Off Topic areas, so if you would like to discuss something outside of the box, this is the best place to post where available.
8. No Bumping
Making short posts made with the sole intention of keeping posts near the top of the forum is called "Bumping". This raises forum traffic and clutter unnecessarily and moves more active threads down the page. As such it is not allowed and may result in the thread being lost and persistent offenders may have their posting privileges removed.
9. Posting in old Threads
Where possible, please avoid posting in threads that are over 2 years old as they are likely to be outdated and/ or irrelevant, especially when reporting or seeking technical support from Ubisoft Support.
If you are unable to find a relevant recent thread for your query/ topic, it would be best to start a new thread, so that other players having the same issue at present can also share their experiences and you can be provided with the latest information.
10. Posting Language
As this forum is managed by Ubisoft US and UK teams, we ask that all posts on this board are made in English so we can effectively moderate. Ubisoft Official forums are available in other major European languages, you can find these linked from your local Ubi.com. We also ask that you avoid "text speak", "leet-speak" or posting in all caps as this can be considered rude and/ or makes posts difficult to read.
11. Reporting Posts
If you see a post that you think needs moderator attention, please report it by choosing the Post # and clicking on Report afterwards. While it is not always possible to deal with a reported post immediately, all reported posts will be dealt with accordingly if they require it. Abuse of the reported post system is subject to the same rules as abuse of any other system on this forum.
12. Private Messages to Ubisoft Employees
Many Ubisoft employees here on the forums have their private messages enabled so that they can be contacted regarding sensitive matters (e.g. Infractions, cheater reports, account-based issues), other player's behaviour on the forums, or for discussions that would be better held in private.
Please do not contact Ubisoft employees through private messaging to get a quicker reply on a question/ subject already raised through a public thread (e.g. to receive an update o na bug or ticket status), as replies cannot be guaranteed. Private messages are subject to the same rules as the rest of the forums, so please don't abuse these or misuse them.
13. Double Accounts and Account Management Guidelines
Creating an extra account is not allowed, as specified in the Ubisoft Terms of Use. Second or further accounts will be removed from these forums. Creating additional forum accounts to get around a temporary ban will also result in a permanent one. If you believe you've been banned for spamming unfairly, please contact our Support Team to start an investigation.
Character accounts (i.e. creating a duplicate pretending to be a fictional or real person), or accounts impersonating an Ubisoft representative, will lead to an immediate ban. This also applies to using existing accounts to post lock messages or other actions impersonating a moderator. Ban decisions are also final and not up for discussion.
Community Developers, Community Managers, Community Representatives and Support Staff
Community Developers are Ubisoft employees who work in our development studios hand in hand with game production teams to form a bridge between the developers and gamers with the help of other members of the Community team. They are there to inform you about updates and happenings with their respective games, as well as to take your feedback to the developers to help improve current or future titles where possible.
Community Managers & Community Representatives are Ubisoft employees who assist the Community Developers in making players voices heard. They are also tasked with delivering the strategy of the Community Developer and are regularly kept informed on upcoming titles, patches and so on. They will pass on as much information from Ubisoft as possible. Community Mangers and Community Representatives are also constantly involved in reporting back community feedback, suggestions, issues and concerns on all our titles. Community Mangers and Community Representatives have many community focused responsibilities including monitoring the forums assisting/ updating the Moderation team where possible.
Support Staff are Ubisoft Employees who can offer technical advice and solutions on the forums. Their role is to help liaise with the wider support teams to offer help to solve issues if they can't resolve it quickly on the forums.
Moderation actions - These are not a topic for public discussion, if you have a serious issue to raise with moderation actions taken against you or in general, please contact a Community Manager or Representative. Flaming moderators or their actions (this includes telling them how to moderate) is the same as insulting any other user, and will not be tolerated. If you need to contact a Moderator or Community Manager/ Representative, you can view that forum's moderator list under it's title (e.g. Splinter Cell) on the main forum index.
Our community teams are comprised of passionate people who take their responsibility for supporting players seriously and do so with compassion and enthusiasm. Ubisoft will not tolerate any abuse, attacks, harassments, threats or other harmful behaviour to be directed toward them. We may use all means at our disposal - including but not limited to removal from forums, bans from games, permanently suspending Ubisoft accounts and contacting the authorities - for anyone found to be subjecting our teams to this kind of toxicity. The sanctions are decided on a case by case basis, based on multiple criteria, including but not limited to, the seriousness of the violation, the number of violations and the impact of the violations on our services, on other users and/or on our representatives.
We know this reminder isn't necessary for the vast majority of you, and we would like to thank you for your ongoing dedication for the community and continued support.
