Hey guys. I've been thinking about buying Rainbow Six Extraction now that it's on sale but i'm really curious if the game has been abandoned or not. I did play it once when it was a "free weekend" event and i really enjoyed the gameplay(for almost 2 hours that i had free time to try it)

Since my last play, did Ubisoft add anything new to the game? I did see that "Crysis events" returning but i was wondering if these events are new or the same events from last year.
Another thing that i want to know is: Are there active players? do you have to wait for 10+ minutes in que for one game or couple of seconds?
And last thing: I did see that there's also ranked que. How's it holding? Are active players que'ing up or not?

So picked this game up today...been running Easy NYC missions, got a few operators to around rank 5-6......

I gotta ask, sup with the alien spawning? Ill take my time and go through a map, clear it out, nests, aliens, etc, run into basically nothing throughout and then suddenly and out of the blue, it will just be infested.

was just doing one of those defend the scan square missions, went through, cleared out a few aliens, it was largely barren, nothing much. I got the scanner started, cleared point A: like 2 Aliens. Cleared point B: like 2 Aliens. Went to point C and suddenly it was like 30 aliens coming from 4 different directions simulataneously.....what the hell!? Suddenly the little red alien spawner [censored] were just appearing out of no where, places id already cleared......

Pretty stupid how the game just makes you lose.....your goin good and suddenly it pops big BS blobs on you that you cant hope to stop.

The Self Reviving is pretty useless to lol....revives you with like no health at all, even with the 30 point increase, thats basically nothing. So far, the way its been, if you need to revive, the revive isnt going to help, otherwise, you dont need to revive.

Hmmm, idk....game seems just as odd as I figured it would. Wasnt a fan of the extraction event back in RB6 lol

Hello I was playing a ranked game last night and I lost power during the game it only went out for a little cause I got back on in the morning but how do I get rid of this ban I'm banned for 2 days and want to play please help.

Last week Division 2 added Easy Anti-Cheat support for Steam Deck and Linux. An amazing milestone for Ubisoft. Please, Consider adding it to rainbow six extraction there is no reason why you shouldn't. I just want to buy this game please let me give you my money.

Rainbow Six Extraction please , need to have smart AI Teammates in the game and should have offline play available so some people like me Can go on and play with AI , and give them order , like in Far Cry 5 , New Dawn and Ghost Recon Series , Rainbow Six used to have and need to have some good stories with AI Teammates along side , please make it happen for this game, and just incase if not many people going to play this game we can do with our AI squad of our choice and loadouts , i really hope the developer already considered this and have AI teammates system in the game already

Literally the MP5SD for Hibana and Echo in R6 Extraction does 18 damage while the MP5SD for Echo in Siege does 30 damage, so why does it do extremely little damage in Extraction? It doesn't matter if it has an integrated suppressor, that's not how integral suppressors work, they literally are the barrel itself so no changes were even necessary for the game at all! And now that I think about it, if Extraction and Siege have the same teams working on both games, then why do the suppressors in Extraction reduce damage instead of carrying out the same statistics as Siege. Common sense was literally thrown out with this game!

I think one of biggest misses of Rainbow Six Extraction was not to allow us to explore the PIONEER, the vessel that is the Headquarters of REACT. We should control Ash to do the tour. There should be so many possibilities to wander in its interiors, meeting all Operators, talking to them, Thermite and Mira, checking on Mako (daughter of Pulse and Hibana), visiting the Singularity, using a target shooting area, having a practice room to test all weapons and gadgets, going to Medical Bay to check on injured Operators and rescued crew, meeting INDEX personally, checking on lore, backstory and updates, samples of Archeans, and so much more... all of this would be so much better than reading a Codex in a menu.
This is probably too much to expect, but I would love to see the developers of Rainbow Six Extraction to materialize the PIONEER.
