I previously made a thread in this forum discussing the need for new defensive operators. I thought it would be logical to create another thread to discuss offensive operators I would like to see added into the game. Like the previous one I did I will include Nighthaven operators in order to consider all of the possibilities; and if I or somebody else already discussed operator in a previous thread, I will include a link to the thread they were discussed in. Please reply to discuss what you think of these suggestions.
Glaz: He would be nice addition to the game for a number reasons. His HDS flip sight allows to see through smoke preventing enemies from being able to ambush. The OTS-03 is an excellent weapon for engaging enemies from far away, which prevents them from being able to easily retaliate against him. I would recommend replacing his PMM with the SR-2 Udav and or MP-443 in order to keep the loadout up to date with their military is thought to be currently using.
Kapkan: I created a post previously that discusses him in more detail, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.His ability could be employed offensively by deploying them in areas Archeans pass through frequently or luring Archeans into the trap himself or by having Alibi deploy one her decoys near it.
Blitz: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators. Adding the P30 to his loadout will help to offer him more weapons options.
Twitch: She was discussed in another post made by @whitehawk0211, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/177999/twitch-op-idea. I would recommend replacing SG-CQB with a SPAS-12 to make her loadout more realistic.
Montagne: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Clash: I discussed her in a previous post. Here is the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Thermite: I know in this game, Thermite is in an administrative position and is not on the combat roster, but there is a dilemma. Besides Sledge and Hibana, we don't really have any breachers in this game and two of the big ones Ash and Thermite are both not on the combat roster because of their position. Ways to address this have been somewhat discussed in the thread I am leaving a link for here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/133512/add-zero-yes-please-yes-you-should/6?lang=en-US.
Ash: Pretty much the same situation as Thermite, except she can only breach unreinforced surfaces. I would recommend replacing the G36C with an MP5 to provide a wider array of different types of weapons for them to employ.
Warden: He similar to Glaz in regards to his ability to see through smoke clouds. However, his glance gadget also allows to be immune to flash effects or immediately eliminate flash blindness, as long as he is immobile. It could help prevent being ambushed in a potentially dangerous situation.
Blackbeard: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Maverick: He could be employed to create new sightlines in both reinforced and unreinforced surfaces to attack enemies from. This would allow him to easily ambush enemies.
Zero: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/133512/add-zero-yes-please-yes-you-should/6?lang=en-US.
Frost: I discussed her in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators. Could be employed in a way similar to Kapkan.
Buck: He could be employed to create new sightlines in unreinforced surfaces to attack enemies from or knock back charging low level Archeans. Similar to Maverick in regards to how he could be employed. I know a lot of people wanted him to be added into the game.
Caveira: While she would obviously not be able to interrogate Archeans, her ability still could be valuable as it could make her harder to detect. She would not be undetectable the way Vigil is. Her suppressed weapon could make quite useful for quietly taking down Archeans without giving away her position.
Flores: His RCE-Ratero Charge drone would allow to eliminate multiple Archeans, breach unreinforced surfaces, and or create a diversion to distract the Archeans. I think by level ten, he should start off with two to three drones because of what his gadget is for and how it works. The only thing in his loadout I change is I would add the Ithaca 37 to his primary weapons list to give him another weapon type of weapon to choose from.
Solis: Her SPEC-IO Electro-Sensor could be used in a way similar to IQ's RED Mk III "Spectre". I think in order to differentiate her from IQ, I believe that before level seven she should be able to detect Sower mines, Blinding Spores, Sowers, and Rooters regardless of whether or not they cloaked. At level seven, she could be able to detect Lurkers and Smashers regardless of whether or not they are cloaked. At level ten, perhaps she could be given the ability to detect Apexes and Tormentors regardless of whether or not they are cloaked. I think the Galil Córdova, Vektor SS-77, and or M24 SWS should be added to her primary weapons options to make her more effective in long range engagements.
Jackal: His Eyenox Model III allows him find and track enemy movements, which could highly beneficial spotting footprint trails left by Archeans. The main limitation his device has would be it would not be able to track Apexes and Tormentors, because tormentors always walk on the sprawl they generate when move and Apexes don't walk.
Iana: Her Gemini Replicator allows her to easily scout areas, gather intel, and deceive her enemies without exposing herself to enemy attacks. I could be particularly useful for luring an Archean into a trap to get a sample or capture a live specimen.
Osa: I discussed her in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Sens: Sens could be useful both as an anchor. Additionally, his R.O.U. Projector System allows him to block enemy sightlines, which would allow him to ambush the enemy more easily. I am going to recommend replacing the 417 on their primary weapons list with the Minimi MK3, SCAR-L MK2, and or AXMC in order to have his loadout match weapons the Belgian military uses.
Nøkk: I think some people, including myself, believe Nøkk would make a nice addition to the game, but her ability would need to be altered in a way to make her different from Vigil. In Rainbow Six Siege, she combines the abilities of Caveira and Vigil. One option would be to have her cloak last longer, with a longer cool down, than Vigil's cloak. Perhaps at level ten her ability would render her undetectable for a duration between thirty to forty-five seconds, with a cool down around thirty to forty seconds. I think her secondary weapons should be replaced with USP9 SD and or P320 and either change her FMG-9 to the FDC-9 or replace both of her primary weapons with the C8A2, Diemaco LSW, and or Sako TRG in order to have her loadout match the weapons units from her country typically use.
Thorn: I created a post previously that discusses her in more detail, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Grim: Grim's Kawan Hive Launcher would allow him to actively monitor enemy movements. I think by level ten, he should have five hives to start with and, like Ela and Zofia, he should be able to regenerate some of his hives, after they are deployed, over time.
Lesion: I created a post previously that discusses him in more detail, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators. Could be employed in a way similar to Kapkan, except because his device is cloaked, it would be harder for enemies to detect.
Ying: I created a post previously that discusses her in more detail, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators. I think it would be wise to make it her googles make her either resistant or immune to flash blindness.
Azami: I discussed her in detail in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Kali: She would be very similar to Glaz in regards to the benefits she would bring. However, the feud between her and Ash would have to be addressed in the story somehow in order for to make sense. In regards to her LV Explosive Lance, I think by Level seven it should be able to obliterate Sower mines and blinding spores and stun low level Archeans. At level ten, I think it should be able to stun Tormentors and Apexes.
Kaid: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators. In the event, the developer's don't plan on adding him into the game as an operator, they could possibly employ him as an administrator, which was discussed in https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/133512/add-zero-yes-please-yes-you-should/6?lang=en-US.
Oryx: Oryx is an operator that I am personally hoping the developers add to the game. His abilities make him a very capable roamer. His ability to interact with broken hatches would allow him to evade Archeans reach elevated positions faster than other operators. His Remah Dash allows him to breach through unreinforced walls at the cost of loosing some of his health, while also being able cover short distances extremely quick, which would be very useful in chase situations. His Remah Dash also allows him to knock down. I think it would be nice if by level seven, his ability had the capacity to obliterate low level Archeans and stun Sowers, Lurkers, Rooters, and Tormentors. At level ten, perhaps his ability would be able to stun Smashers. I think his loadout should be changed so that the T-5 SMG is removed and the SAR-21, IWI X95, and or SC3000K are added in. For side arms, I am going to recommend replacing his current options with the Px4 Storm and PA-15 in to match what the Moroccan military actually uses.
Wamai: I discussed him in a previous post, which I will include the link here: https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/178965/new-defense-operators.
Goyo: His Volcán Shield both provides cover from enemy fire and can be used as trap to eliminate Archeans. I think his primary weapons loadout should be replaced with Mendoza P90, FX-05, CETME Ameli, and or MSG90 in order to make it match the weapons the Mexican military actually uses.
Amaru: Her Garra Hook allows her to reach areas that would take other operators longer to reach on foot. This makes her a very capable roamer. Perhaps at level 7, her Garra kick would allow her to eliminate low Archeans. At level ten, it could allow her to eliminate or stun Tormentors, Sowers, Rooters, Smashers, and Lurkers. One concern I have is about the Apex's repulsion ability, which could cause her if she is entering an area where on is nearby to go flying out the window. I think the Supernova should be removed from her primary weapons list and add the FAD-V2, P90, and or the M1300 in order to make it match the weapons the Peruvian military actually uses.
