Summer is Around the Corner, and the Seasonal Series is Back!

IT'S BEEN 4 SEASONS AND A YEAR OF CHAMPIONS

Before we show you what Year 2 of Seasonal Series has to offer, we'd like to thank everyone who has been part of it and recognize the Seasonal Champions from both the Promise Division and the Contenders League.

Congratulations to everyone that made it to the Contenders League through the year and the Seasonal Series winners. Here are the top 5 teams of the Season 2025/2026:

NEW SEASON, NEW YEAR, NEW FORMAT

Starting on June 26^th, the Seasonal Series is back for its second consecutive year with 4 new seasons that will happen in Europe/MENA, North America and South America, while APAC will have a total of 6 editions divided between APAC North, Asia and Oceania.

For this summer season in the north hemisphere and winter in the south, sing-ups are already open in Challengermode on the following links:

• Oceania Winter Season

Make sure to read the rulebook, as not only the looks of the Seasonal Series have changed, but the rules of the game also have a new and improved format. Here are some of the main changes that you need to be aware of:

1. The Promise Division and Contenders League are gone.

2. Now there are 5 open weekends of ladders instead of 4.

3. Your best 3 weekend results count toward your final team score instead of just 2.

4. The top 8 teams at the end of Week 5 will qualify for the Seasonal League of their corresponding region.

The Seasonal League is a best of 1 round robin that qualifies the 6 highest ranked teams to the Seasonal Finals. In the latest, the top 2 teams of the Seasonal League receive an advantage seeding into a best of 3 double elimination bracket that will determine the Seasonal Champion.

There is one last change and that is the Prize Pool. It has been increased to €6,400 for each region, each season, and part of it will be distributed weekly on the open ladders to the top 2 teams along R6 Credits for the top 3 teams.

The rest is the same good old system inside of Challengermode. So, get your team ready, subscribe to your R6 BLAST regional space inside of the platform and get ready to queue up for some intense weekends of Rainbow Six where PC and Console players alike can face each other to conquer the season and become champions!

Competing is not the only way that you can participate in the Seasonal Series. During the Seasonal League and Finals, community casting will be available.
