It's finally here! The Rogue Prince of Persia released yesterday at 33% off on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch and we're so excited for you to get your hands on it. Rogue's seamlessly fluid platforming and parkour action couldn't be a better fit for the Switch 2, whether you're on the go like the Prince or just chilling at your own oasis like Sukhra. Plus, it looks and runs fantastically at 4k on Switch 2.
A Challenge Worthy of a Prince
Once you've completed the story, the real challenge commences, and you can attempt even more difficult Awakening runs to unlock some awesome skins from Laleh. We even snuck in a couple of fun references Nintendo fans are sure to enjoy (a certain Plumber perhaps). Pro tip: The Iron Mace and Saw Blade are a super powerful weapon/tool combo to get through those difficult Awakening runs.
Fast and Powerful Builds
Speaking of being on the go--something the Switch excels at--one of the most satisfying feelings is activating Vayu's Breath, a speed boost that makes parkour and traversal even faster and more fluid. If speed is your game, you'll want to hold out for the Acceleration medallions (left and right) which both increase Vayu's Breath accumulation speed by 10%. Equipping both the left and right versions of Acceleration medallion increases the bonus of each to 20%, meaning you'll be feeling the rush of Vayu's Breath WAY more often (which this author recommends).

If you want to take this build to another level, try combining the Acceleration medallions with Sticky Acceleration, which spreads resin and slows those pesky Hun mobs. Add the Igniting Dive medallion to this build and your dive attacks will set fire to the resin, leaving your enemies engulfed in flames while you're showing off your sick parkour moves. And once you get a bit further in the game, maybe the most OP medallion for this build is Fire Breath, which triggers explosions around the Prince while Vayu's Breath is active, incinerating the Huns with ease.
This is just one build of many, and trying out all the different combinations of weapons, tools and medallions feels almost infinite. I could go on and on, but I'll let you figure it out for yourselves...
Vayua's Breath will speed up your movement considerably
Ok I couldn't help myself, one last tip that I must share here just because it's so fun:
Dented Pot (random chance of getting a critical hit) with the Stunningly Critical medallion (Critical hits stun nearby enemies) combined with Critical Dazzle (inflicts critical hits on stunned enemies). You can just rampage through even the most difficult mobs with this combination; you must try it.
Yes yes... with the Dented Pot even critical hits are random!
