For Honor is known for its intense, tactical battles but we know that jumping back in after a break (or starting fresh) can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’re introducing Starter Dominion, a temporary game mode designed to make the experience smoother while keeping the thrill of combat alive.
Why Starter Dominion?
Our goal is simple: grow the community and make it easier for both new and returning warriors to enjoy the fight. This mode is part of a broader effort to create a more welcoming environment, reduce complexity, and help everyone feel confident on the battlefield.
What to Expect
• Same core rules as Dominion, with adjustments for accessibility.
• Gear Perks, Feats, Stamina, and Revenge are disabled for a streamlined experience.
• You can matchmake with friends, and the remaining slots in your team will be filled with our strongest bots to keep the action flowing.
Starter Dominion keeps the intensity you love just with fewer barriers to entry.
Test Schedule
• First test: December 4 – December 18
• Second test: January 29 – February 12
This isn’t a Testing Grounds or a Game Mode Event, it’s a temporary mode designed to gather feedback and learn for the future.
