Get ready to hit the road. The Crew Motorfest is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, 2026, bringing the open-world driving experience to Nintendo's latest hardware.

Set across the Hawaiian islands of O'ahu, Maui, and Kauai, Motorfest is a celebration of car culture built around the freedom to drive your way. Explore a vast open world, collect and customize hundreds of vehicles, and take on more than 30 themed Playlists covering everything from street racing and off-road to drift, motorsports, and more.

Whether you want to follow a themed campaign, explore the islands at your own pace, compete against other players, or create and discover community-made tracks through TrackForge, there is always something new to experience behind the wheel.


What is The Crew Motorfest?

The Crew Motorfest is an open-world driving game where you can explore the Hawaiian archipelago and experience different sides of car culture.

Play through themed Playlists, each built around a specific automotive theme, era, or discipline. Along the way, discover new vehicles, complete challenges, compete in races, and expand your collection.

When you're ready to go beyond the Playlists, explore the islands in Freedrive, take on competitive multiplayer activities, customize your collection, or jump into tracks created by the community with TrackForge.

Motorfest is also continuously evolving through regular Seasons, introducing new vehicles, activities, features, and experiences for players to discover.

  • When is The Crew Motorfest coming to Nintendo Switch 2?

    • The Crew Motorfest launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, 2026.
  • What format is The Crew Motorfest available in?

    • The Nintendo Switch 2 version is available as a Game-Key Card and requires a download to install the game on your Nintendo Switch 2. A persistent internet connection is also required to play the game.
  • What resolution and frame rate does the Nintendo Switch 2 version support?

    • The Crew Motorfest runs at 1080p and 30 FPS, both in TV Mode and Handheld Mode.
  • Do I need a Ubisoft Account to play?

    • Yes. A Ubisoft Account is required to play The Crew Motorfest on Nintendo Switch 2. Your Ubisoft Account also allows you to access your Motorfest progression across supported platforms through Cross-Progression and Cross-Save.
  • Does The Crew Motorfest support Cross-Progression and Cross-Save?

    • Yes. The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports Cross-Progression and Cross-Save, allowing you to continue your progression across supported platforms. However, content purchased through another platform's store is not transferred to Nintendo Switch 2. This includes purchases made through Xbox, PlayStation, Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, or Steam.
  • Can I access content I already purchased on another platform?

    • Your progression can carry over through Cross-Save and Cross-Progression, but purchases made through another platform's store are not transferred to Nintendo Switch 2. You will need to purchase the relevant content again on Nintendo Switch 2 if you want to access it on that platform.
  • Can I import my vehicle collection from The Crew 2?

    • No. Collection Import from The Crew 2 is not available on Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Does The Crew Motorfest support cross-play?

    • The Nintendo Switch 2 version does not support full cross-play. However, some online features are shared across platforms. Nintendo Switch 2 players can compete against players on other platforms in:

      • Demolition Royale

  • Does TrackForge support cross-platform content?

    • Yes. Tracks created with TrackForge are available across all platforms. Tracks created by the Motorfest community can be discovered and played regardless of the platform they were created on.
  • Do I need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription?

    • A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required for multiplayer features. This includes online activities such as Crewing, Grand Race, and Demolition Royale.
  • Can I play The Crew Motorfest offline?

    • No. A persistent internet connection is required to play The Crew Motorfest.
  • Are the Free Trial and Friend Pass available on Nintendo Switch 2?

    • No. The Free Trial and Friend Pass features are not available on Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Are the Year Passes and DLC Packs available on Nintendo Switch 2?

    • The Year 1 Pass, Year 2 Pass, Year 3 Pass, Chase Squad DLC Pack, RC Frenzy DLC Pack, Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni'ihau DLC Pack and currency packs as well as their associated content, are available at launch on Nintendo Switch 2.

What's New in Motorfest?

The Crew Motorfest's Nintendo Switch 2 launch comes as the game enters its fourth year of post-launch content, with new experiences arriving throughout Year 4. 

Season 11: Discover Kauai

Season 11 kicks off on October 7, 2026, introducing Kauai, a new wild playground focused on off-road exploration. 

From dense swamps to the massive Red Canyon, Kauai offers new environments to explore and new challenges to overcome. 

The season also introduces the free Kauai Expedition Playlist, the new Winch feature for select vehicles, a new exploration layer spanning the Motorfest islands, and wildlife to discover and photograph, with more than 40 species to find. 

The vehicle lineup also continues to expand, including the Bugatti Tourbillon, featured in its own Special Event and Summit Contest, alongside vehicles such as the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, Suzuki Jimny, and Hyundai Crater Concept. 

Tomb Raider: Secrets of Niʻihau

Also launching as part of Season 11, Tomb Raider: Secrets of Niʻihau brings a new adventure created in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics. 

Join Lara Croft as she travels to the mysterious island of Niʻihau, where ancient ruins, puzzles, prehistoric creatures, and a long-lost relic await. 

The experience introduces a dedicated Playlist, a new island to explore, and five exclusive vehicles. Players will encounter creatures including a Mosasaurus and a T-Rex as they uncover the secrets of Niʻihau. 

Niʻihau can be seen by all players, while access to the Tomb Raider experience requires the Tomb Raider DLC Pack, both available from October 8, 2026 on the Nintendo eshop.
