This season brings new energy to old favorites, with a remastered iconic Operator and an overhaul of the most-played playlist.
Dokkaebi is even more lethal with a fresh unique ability—Jegeo Payload—and the option to disrupt Observation Tools from afar. No need to be within close range to take control of dead enemy phones, the original hacking Attacker can now gain access from a distance. Dokkaebi also wields a new gun, the XK23 AR, an experimental bullpup rifle with superior maneuverability for mid-range dominance.

Coming from the Korean 제거,“elimination”, Jegeo Payloads replace Logic Bombs as the malware Dokkaebi can upload to enemy devices to block Observation Tools. Targeted phones with the payload explode, causing 40hp of damage to the carrier and creating a fire that can damage other nearby Operators. This unique ability has more charges and a faster cooldown, but a shorter duration—every activation matters more. It’s about precise and coordinated timing.
The most popular playlist is now more competitive and rewarding for everyone. We've removed the hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR) - your skill is your rank.
We use your rank, squad size, and time and location when matchmaking to make sure teams are balanced. There's also a restriction to ensure less discrepancy between players on the same squad. Squadmates need to be within three ranks of each other, or two for Diamond and Champion ranks.
To help add more distinction among elite players, we've added new divisions to the Champion rank – Champion I Champion II, Champion III, Champion IV, Champion V. The Champion Leaderboard starts with Champion I.
Placement matches are back! At the start of each season, all ranks will be reset and players must complete 5 placement matches to receive a new one. These matches help us calibrate your skill, but your performance in previous seasons also has an influence. Every match matters.
Enjoy a new Ranked rewards track with more competitive coins to celebrate your achievements all season long! Winning counts as two matches completed along the track. Charm and card background rewards are included in the track and tied to each rank you receive. Regardless of the rank you reach, you can still earn the exclusive seasonal headgear just by playing.
Inspired by Rainbow Six: Vegas, the iconic Calypso Casino arrives in Siege! While staying true to the essence of the original map, it’s been thoughtfully enhanced to meet Siege’s competitive standards.
With a new crane for rooftop access, a basement spawn for scaling up the casino façade, and an expanded drone vent network to navigate, verticality opens entirely new routes, strategies, and counterplay options.
Calypso Casino has been added to the map pool of Ranked, Unranked, Quick Match, Team Deathmatch, Landmark Drill and Clear House.
The Discovery playlist will be available from June 2 to 9 with only Calypso Casino available in its map pool.
This season adds modernized touches to Emerald Plains, Kanal, and Outback, including visual enhancements, improved lightning, shadows, 4K textures, and destructible ingredients.
M&K is coming soon to consoles! Starting mid-season, their use will be allowed in the PC cross play pool, but will still be forbidden in other pools. Teams with console players will have stronger communication, as M&K makes text chat available to all. You can decide whether a Custom Game allows mouse and keyboard with a new Input Device option added to match settings.
Abandon penalties will be calculated based on time spent away from a match, rather than a fixed penalty.
Matchmaking penalties will scale based on the amount of negative units a player accumulates in the Abandon action of the Reputation Center.
We listened to your feedback, and the Ranked playlist will continue rotating its map pool at the start of Season 2 and again mid-season to keep gameplay fresh and maintain a strong competitive foundation.
The Ranked map pool expands to three groups. Every map ban will feature two maps from the seasonal and pro pools and one that is showcased.
At the beginning of the season, Calypso Casino is in and Villa, Skyscraper, Theme Park, and Kanal are out.
