R6Fix 2.0 FAQ

HOW DO YOU REPORT A BUG ON R6FIX?

1. SIGN IN TO YOUR UBISOFT ACCOUNT

r6s-fix-1

Click the sign-in button to bring up the pop-up and enter your Ubisoft account information to sign-in. Once entered you will be redirected to R6Fix.

If you are already signed in, that is because you were signed in to a different website within the Ubisoft Ecosystem. Should you run into issues with signing in or your 2FA, please visit the Account website.

2. SELECT A PROJECT

Once you have accessed your Ubisoft account, you can now select in which environment you experienced the bug you would like to report. The test server environment on R6Fix may not always be live.

3. SEARCH FOR YOUR ISSUE

r6s-fix-3

The issue you are experiencing, may have been experienced by players before and therefore we would recommend to always search for your issue first. By doing that you can potentially find existing reports, to which you can contribute. If you do not, report a new issue.

YOU HAVE FOUND A SIMILAR ISSUE? YOU SHOULD UPVOTE OR CONTRIBUTE

Upvote the issue by clicking the PLEASE FIX BUTTON:

Voting on the issue helps us to understand what the priorities for the community are.

YOU CAN ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO EXISTING ISSUES:

Contributions can be made to issues that are open, confirmed or under investigation. Adding further reproductions to existing open issues is always helpful.

STEP 1 - IS THIS A VALID ISSUE?

Yes

By selecting "YES" You are indicating that you have also experienced this issue yourself.

You will be asked to add further details (possible screenshots and videos), the game version you were playing on and what system you were playing on at the time.

No

By selecting "NO" you are letting us know that this issue has not been encountered by yourself and you need to provide a reason, as we do not automatically invalidate reports that have "NO" contributions.

You can indicate that you were not able to reproduce this issue yourself, that it is not a bug, the report is missing important information or that it is a duplicate of another existing report.

Just like selecting "YES" you can add further information, evidence to show you had a different experience can be just as valuable as information confirming potential issues.

REPORT A NEW ISSUE

r6s-fix-6

If you were unable to find an existing report for your issue, you can Report a New Issue from above the search on the Dashboard, or via the button on the sidebar at any time.

ISSUE TITLE

Pay careful attention to the Issue Title you choose. Other players will rely on this when searching to see if their issue has already been reported!

POSSIBLE DUPLICATES

Whilst three possible duplicates will be listed based on the title you enter, you can click View All Duplicates to more thoroughly check.

GAME VERSION

Here you need to select the version of the game you were playing at the time. (Y6S4, Y6S4.1 etc.)

ISSUE CATEGORY

When selecting a Category, pick the one that seems the most closely related to the issue you are encountering.

SELECT A SEVERITY

Choosing the severity, can let us know what impact the issue had on your gameplay

Critical issues - Issues that severely impact or make it impossible for you to play the game at all or as intended.

Hardly Playable Issues - Issues that impact gameplay consistently and are difficult to work around.

Playable Issues - Issue is not consistent and can be worked around at any given moment but still impacts the integrity of the game.

Cosmetic Issues - Issue is purely cosmetic and has no impact on gameplay.

ADD REPRODUCTION STEPS

If you were able to recreate this issue consistently, please add reproduction steps, it is incredibly helpful for us to recreate these issues in our internal testing.

PROVIDE EVIDENCE

Videos and images are always helpful when it comes to providing us information that will allow us to reproduce the issue. Please also add a workaround if you did find one.

Any evidence you can provide can really accelerate the pace at which we identify, reproduce and fix issues in our game!

Incentive Program Information

What is the incentive?

We're giving out rewards for issues that reach the "Under Investigation" status. These rewards are based on the issue severity, as shown below:

Cosmetic:
1 code: 3 Alpha Packs (1 Rare, 1 Epic, 1 Legendary)
Playable:
2 codes: 6 Alpha Packs (2 Rare, 2 Epic, 2 Legendary)
Hardly Playable:
3 codes: 9 Alpha Packs (3 Rare, 3 Epic, 3 Legendary)
Critical:
4 codes: 12 Alpha Packs (4 Rare, 4 Epic, 4 Legendary)

Players can now get more than 1 reward per season for their contribution to R6fix.

One Alpha Pack code (containing 1 rare, 1 epic, 1 legendary) will be given for each of the four following criteria:

  • Your issue reaches the Promoted status
  • You have 2 issues that reach the ''Under Investigation'' status - For example: Player A reports 2 issues, one Playable and the other Critical. If both issues reach the "Under Investigation" status, then they'll get 4 codes for the Critical issue and 1 additional code for the Playable issue.
  • You make an outstanding contribution to an issue - For example, you posted a video evidence that helped our team fix the issue.
  • You report an Exploit using the Exploit category and this exploit is validated and reaches the Under Investigation status.

For each of these 4 criteria, you can earn 1 code maximum per season.

When and how will I get my reward?

Players who qualify will get their codes when the next Season Test Server launches. To qualify for the current season, your issues must be reported before then.

You'll receive the codes via email, which you can then redeem for your Alpha Pack rewards. Please make sure your account email is up to date.

Are the codes platform-specific?

No, you can redeem the codes on any platform.

Do only issues on the Live game count?

No, issues reported on any environment found in R6Fix count toward the incentive.
