Y9S3 Testing Grounds

Greetings warriors! From October 2nd to October 9th, the Testing Grounds will open once again! This time we have 2 separate topics to test: Feats and Revenge.

Firstly, we're bringing you new feats for Centurion and Shinobi, as well as another iteration of the feats for Peacekeeper and Berserker

With these changes we're leaning into the fantasy for each character as before, while iterating over the feedback we've received in previous Testing Grounds.

  • For Centurion, we're providing more opportunities to land his signature move, Eagle's Talon, while improving his support capabilities.
  • Shinobi's signature feats are now available at earlier tiers, while his new feats provide a bigger incentive to complete Sickle Rain and have more impact in team fights.
  • Peacekeeper's new feat lineup is all about increasing bleed synergy and improving their team fight ability. However, the original Feat 3 was too strong, so we've come up with a new idea to improve bleed synergy. We've also updated her alternate feats selection based on your feedback.
  • Finally, Berserker's feats lean into the Berserker fantasy; continuing your offense regardless of the damage you take. We have taken on your feedback about the strength of their feats and have tuned them accordingly.

Secondly, we want to tune Revenge gain to be more in line with the recent anti-gank changes. Right now, even when your damage is reduced due to the hitstun rules, you'll give Revenge as if you're dealing full damage. This results in longer fights and a large penalty for engaging in ganks.

To address this, we're scaling the amount of Revenge given relative to the amount of damage reduction you received.

Centurion's Feat Changes

  • *Rush *has been replaced by Amplified Roar
    • Amplified Roar: Lion's Roar Finisher now Unbalances.
  • Haymaker has been replaced by Eagle's Windfall
    • Eagle's Windfall: Upon landing Eagle's Talon, reduce nearby (14m) enemies' attack and increase allies' movement speed by 20% for 10 seconds.
  • Pugio has been replaced by Vainglorious Pugio
    • Vainglorious Pugio: Throws a projectile that deals 15 damage and pins for 2 seconds. Landing Kick on pinned opponent Unbalances. Cooldown: 120s
  • Phalanx has been replaced by Refined Phalanx
    • Refined Phalanx: Allies nearby (16m) gain a 50 shield for 10 seconds and lose all negative debuffs. Cooldown: 180s

Shinobi's Feat Changes

  • Kiai has been replaced by Sickle Cloud Burst
    • Sickle Cloud Burst: Gain a 20% damage buff for 7 seconds upon landing Sickle Rain's final hit.
  • Shooting Stars has been replaced by Refined Nukekubi (Previously Tier 3)
    • Refined Nukekubi: Gain stamina on successful hits. Light: 10 Stamina Heavy: 15 Stamina
  • Nukekubi has been replaced by Yama Uba (Previously Tier 4)
    • Yama Uba: Gain 20% of damage dealt as health.
  • Yama Uba has been replaced by Cruel Helix
    • Cruel Helix:  Throw two waves of shuriken in an AoE around you, dealing 30 damage to every opponent inside the area-of-effect (13m). Cooldown: 180 seconds

Peacekeeper's Feat Changes

  • Conqueror has been replaced by Crossbow Wound (which was previously Tier 3)
    • Crossbow Wound: Projectile that deals 1 damage and 10 bleed damage over 10 seconds. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
  • Thick Skin has been replaced by Bleed Armor
    • Bleed Armor: Hitting a bleeding target gives a 20% defense buff for 10 seconds.
  • Sharpen Blade has been replaced by Sanguine Serrations
    • Sanguine Serrations: Attacks apply Bleed (5 damage every 2 seconds for 4 seconds). Its cooldown reduces by 5 seconds when hitting a bleeding target. Cooldown: 150 seconds.
  • Fear Itself has been replaced by Induced Fear
    • Induced Fear: Enemies nearby (8m) have 15% reduced defense.

Berserker's Feat Changes

  • Storming Trap has been replaced by Swift Axe Throw
    • Swift Axe Throw: Throw an axe at a target dealing 15 damage. Getting hit reduces its cooldown by 5 seconds. Cooldown: 90 seconds.
  • Executioner's Respite has been replaced by Blooming Rage
    • Blooming Rage: Getting hit increases your attack damage & movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds. Doesn't refresh on hit.
  • Fury has been replaced by Unwavering Fury
    • Unwavering Fury: Gain infinite stamina & enhanced light attacks for 20 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Berzerker has been replaced by Valhalla's Blessing
    • Valhalla's Blessing: Gain super armor and cannot be killed for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 180 seconds.
