The Discovery Tour series are dedicated educational, interactive and violence-free experiences that let players discover about the history and daily life of the Viking Age, Ancient Grece and Ancient Egypt. Students, teachers, non-gamers and dedicated players can all get to know more about those time periods at their own pace, or embark on original stories and guided tours. In addition, Discovery Tour's freely explorable re-creations of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and the Viking Age enable students to visualize the landscape, architecture, and cultures of the past like never before.

On top of the collaboration with historians and experts that happens for all Assassin’s Creed games, the Discovery Tours Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt and Viking Age have been created with the support of external specialists of the corresponding time period and setting to make sure the content is accurate and adapted for educational purposes.

No. While the Discovery Tour Ancient Greece, the Discovery Tour Ancient Egypt and/or the Discovery Tour Viking age are free for all owners of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins and/or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla they are also available in a purchasable PC stand-alone version.

The Discovery Tour Viking Age is also available as a stand-alone version on Xbox, Playstation and Luna.
