Patch Notes 2.62.0 – FOR HONOR

IMPROVEMENT 

Cross Platform Progression
Starting this title update, For Honor introduces Cross-Progression!
This feature allows you to synchronize your progression, heroes, gear, cosmetics and more across all platforms where you play, using your Ubisoft account. 

Whether you're on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, you can now enjoy your For Honor experience without losing any progress, no matter where you play. 

Also Ranked Duel gamemode and ours Events are now 'Crossplay capable' (enabled by default)

Menus 

Material Customization Camera Zoom: 

  • When customizing material per body part, the camera will now focus on that specific body part, offering a better preview. 

BALANCING CHANGES  

Aramusha: 

  • Chain Heavy (all stances) damage reduced to 26 damage (down from 27/30 for top/side).\
  • Heavy Finisher damage reduced to 29 (was 31).

[Developer's Comments]
Aramusha is now performing well with the changes from earlier this year. However, we've noticed that their damage is giving them too much of an edge, so we are toning it down to be in line with the rest of the roster. 

Shugoki: 

  • Headbutt Damage increased to 12 (up from 10). 
  • Headbutt Stamina cost decreased to 15 (down from 20).
    [Developer's Comments]
    When comparing Shugoki's Headbutt to other fast unparryable attacks (melee/bash moves), it led to less damage at a higher stamina cost than most.
    With these changes, the move should be more in line with the rest of the cast. 

Gladiator:

  • Skewer's parry window is now 166ms (down from 200ms). 

Can now be parried from 600ms to 766ms (instead of 600ms to 800ms).

[Developer's Comments]
At the highest level, Skewer is not effective at opening the opponent's guard as players can react to them (and their feints) earlier than expected.
This is the same issue that Pirate had with Walk the Plank & Cavalier Dance. So, we're giving it the same treatment as we've seen positive results.
As a reminder, the goal behind this change is to make it an even playing field for players of all levels and not favor those with quicker reactions. 

Shinobi: 

  • Sickle Rain now generates 30 revenge (down from 55).

[Developer's Comments]
In the past, we had increased the amount of revenge this move would generate to compensate for the ability to break hitstun rules.
With the recent Anti-Gank changes, this is no longer the case so we are reducing their value back to normal. Note that this does not impact Sickle Rain follow ups (these still generate 10 revenge per hit).  

Conqueror: 

  • New move: Crashing Apprehension (Dodge Forward + Heavy) 

  • Counts as a Heavy Opener from Top stance 

  • Acts as a Chain Starter 

  • Can be Feinted at normal Feint Timing 

  • Can be Soft-Feinted with Full Block Stance either at Start up or Recovery

[Developer's Comments]
The new move addresses Conqueror's inability to deal with opponents that dodge-roll away at the sign of any pressure. Now, players should be able to punish enemies if they read their intent. 

BUG FIXES 

Virtuosa 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; the Back and Left throw can unbalance a target if it happen to put the target Out-of-Stamina.  

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; Virtuosa is skipping Dodge animation when performed right after a Counter-Guardbreak 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; Virtuosa could perform Riposte on a locked opponent after evading attacks from minions or pikemen. 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; Virtuosa could swap the target of a Riposte after evading an attack. 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; an incorrect name is present for ornament associated with Mythic outfit 'The Pit Viper ' for Virtuosa 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; two ornaments with same name 'Otakemaru' are present for hero 'Virtuosa' 

Shugoki: 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; a chair clips with Shugoki's head while performing "Chair slam" execution in barrracks and in game 

Orochi: 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; Orochi's hand clips with slave body when executing slave by 'Stop, drop and roll' execution 

Ocelotl: 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where: glasses are not correctly aligned when equipping Summer of Cool MFX with Hunter's Menace Combat Emote 

Matchmaking 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; PvP/PvAI matchmaking options won't reset anymore when the player reboots the game. They will now be persistent. 

Map 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; the Hero can go out of world at The Shard in stairs that connects Point A and B 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; the Hero can go out of world at the High Fort in Point A stairs 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; the Hero can go out of world at the Sentinel in Attackers side Point A stairs 

  • [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where; the Hero can go out of world at the Canyon in the way from Defender spawn to Point C
