Lionel Bouchet

Employee Representative

Lionel Bouchet has joined The Board as an Employee representative. Currently Senior Lead Programmer, Lionel has spent most of his career at Ubisoft, which he joined in 1996 after graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering at the EERIE Nîmes School (France). Lionel first worked on POD, the first driving game developed by Ubisoft then on several Formula 1 games before dedicating himself, since 2005, to the rise of the successful Ghost Recon franchise.

He is now responsible for the development of the engine and all the production pipeline of the brand, an ambitious project co-developed in France by three studios: Ubisoft Paris, Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Bordeaux. His experience of more than 20 years in the production studios of Paris and Montpellier allows him to clearly identify the stakes of the production teams with a specific focus on technological issues, a central theme of the video game industry.

As a Ubisoft employee and with his in-depth knowledge of the Group, Lionel brings to the Board the operational vision of the Group’s entities.

Lionel is based in Montpellier and he is a French national.
